SCIENCE SHIP: Snail memory transfers & parrot talk

Scientists in California have sucked a memory out of a snail and stuck it in another snail.
Ok, so that headline is a little misleading, but if you were explaining what actually happened, that’s probably how you’d do it.
660’s Jonathan Muma hopped on board the Science Ship with Saint Mary’s University Astrophysicist Dr. Rob Thacker to get the whole story.
Earlier this month, police responded to a domestic dispute call in Germany, only to find a man arguing with a parrot!
In this case, the parrot wasn’t speaking but it raises the question: does a talking parrot understand what it’s saying, or is it just mimicking human speech?
