Training, treats and adoption set for expo in Calgary

Want to teach your dog a new trick, or need help training it?

You can find out all you need to know from the experts at the Calgary Pet Expo, which runs April 21 to 22 at Spruce Meadows.

Nori Richens, with the show, said advice is free with admission.

“We have ‘ask a vet,’ so you can come ask a vet by Montgomery Village Veterinary [Clinic] and then we will also have ‘ask the trainer,’ from Sit Happens! [Companion Dog Training] so any of your training questions, make a list and come on down,” she said.

Attendees will also be exposed to plenty of entertainment, pet products and services, and if you don’t have one — or you want another — you can even adopt a pet.

While it is a pet expo, owners are asked to leave animals at home.
