Program plans to cheer up lonely seniors this Christmas

There’s an effort underway to bring Christmas cheer to lonely and socially isolated seniors.

The Seniors Secret Service has put together wish lists as part of a donation drive called Stocking Stuffers for Seniors.

They will help older people living in low income, assisted living, or palliative care facilities over the holidays.

Calgarians can help by picking up a wish list at London Drugs and then drop off new, unwrapped items by December 11.

Some of the items include hand cream, herbal tea, slippers, gift cards, and chocolate.
