#LoveYYC campaign designed to get Calgarians out today

Today (Saturday) you have a chance to show your love for Calgary.
This is the second year for an event that showcases local businesses and attractions.
It’s called Love YYC.
Tourism Calgary’s Lindsay Gallant says the event has two purposes.
“To try and encourage Calgarians to get out and try something new, something that they haven’t discovered and gives them another reason to love this city. And then two, to try and create a conversation and a powerful positive message about the city,” says Gallant.
Dozens of businesses are lining up special deals for the day, like free gelato tastings at Fiasco, and discounts at Heritage Park.
“WinSport is doing free luge and some of our hotel partners are also doing some pretty amazing stay-cation packages.”
