Calgary’s mayor prepares for Neighbour Day 2017

Mayor Naheed Nenshi is announcing details Wednesday on this year’s Neighbour Day.

The 4th annual event happening June 17, celebrates the community spirit shown during the 2013 flood.

The mayor will be at the Bob Bahan Aquatic and Fitness Centre Wednesday morning with students from Ernest Morrow School to give examples of ways to get involved.

The deadline to submit permit applications for Neighbour Day is May 26.
