Police deem Crescent Heights death Calgary’s third murder of 2017

A man in his 30s is the city’s third homicide victim of the year.
Early Thursday morning, police were called to the area of 12 Ave N.E. and Centre Street N. for a report of a man who appeared to be in medical distress in his stopped vehicle.
The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Hussam Ahmad Ismal.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone in the area who witnessed anything unusual to report it – no matter how small the tip may seem.
