Mounties in Red Deer look for suspect who wrote hate message in snow

RCMP are looking for a man caught on camera writing a hate message outside the Red Deer Islamic Centre.
Mounties were called about the alleged hate crime Monday around 7:30 a.m.
Investigators say a man walked to the steps of the building and wrote a message in the snow, signing it “E.K.”
The suspect was wearing a hoodie and a baseball cap (possibly Carhartt brand) underneath a jacket, with light coloured pants and dark coloured running shoes.
Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to contact Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
