Thefts prompt Okotoks RCMP to tell people to lock car doors

Winter-like conditions may already be upon us but you need to keep your car or truck doors locked, if you leave the vehicle running.
That warning from Okotoks RCMP after vehicles were stolen, both of them had been left idling at the time.
It and other mischief to vehicles had happened between the hours of 7 and 9:30 in the morning in the neighbourhoods of Cimarron, Crystal Shores and Drake Landing.
They’re looking for two suspects from the Cimarron area, the first is a tall, stocky male wearing a red plaid jacket and was in a small silver car along with the second suspect. He is described as tall, stocky, wearing a dark coloured hoodie.
The suspect they’re looking for in the Crystal Shores area is described as an African American male, wearing a puffy black winter jacket with fur around the hood and driving a silver Acura with tinted windows.
