High River RCMP want to know “where’s the beef?”

“Where’s the beef?”

That’s what High River RCMP are asking after a man entered a Co-op grocery store in town and made off with $500 dollars of meat products.

It happened back on Saturday, September 17th around 3:20 pm.

The suspect walked through the store and filled his car. He then transferred everything over into black garbage bags and left the store on a silver and red bicycle.

To staff’s surprise, the man tried again the following day but was recognized when he entered the Co-op.

He fled the area and abandoned the car full of meat inside the store, leaving on the same bike.

He’s described as 50-65 years old with shoulder length gray/blond hair, a slim build, approximately 5’9″ to 6’0″ tall.

Anyone who knows anything about this is being asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
