RCMP dealing with police situation in Conrich at Khalsa School

A scary situation for students and staff after a suspicious vehicle was spotted in the school’s parking lot.
It happened Monday afternoon in around 1:30 p.m. where Strathmore RCMP were called to investigate a five-ton cube van that was left there.
Mounties currently have the area restricted while they investigate the incident and the vehicle that was left behind.
Students and staff from the school were safely evacuated.
Police aren’t disclosing much but a caller into 660 NEWS say the original complaint came in as a bomb threat.
Homes near the school are dealing with restricted access and they’re asking people to be patient.
They add no members of the public are at any risk.
