Nearly $200,000 drugs found during investigation; two men facing charges

Calgary police have shut down an illegal drug operation, which involved the trafficking of fentanyl across the city.
On Friday, July 22, officers searched a vehicle during a traffic stop and the subsequent search of a house in the 6400 block of 4 Street northeast netted magic mushrooms, powdered fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and cutting agents worth nearly $200,000.
Officers also found a pellet gun and cash.
31-year-old Sheldon Tyler Adams is facing a number of drug-related charges.
32-year-old Brandon Sean Carter, who was arrested with Adams in the vehicle, is charged with four counts of unlawfully being at large.
