Ladies Golf Association tournament kicks off

The 87th Calgary Ladies Golf Association Closed Amateur Tournament kicks off Tuesday.
It’s a 54-hole, three day stroke play event and 96 women are competing.
Last year’s winner, Sydney Macdonald, will be defending her title.
She is currently studying at South Dakota State University and shot the lowest round of the tournament in 2015 with a 68 on day three.
The tournament runs until Thursday on the Meadows Course at The Glencoe Golf and Country Club.
