Olympic legend joins on with Sport Calgary

An Olympic legend joined Sport Calgary’s executive team Tuesday.

Catriona Le May Doan will be the new Senior Director of Community and Engagement and Marketing.

Le May Doan said she is excited to take on the role and wants to help build amateur sport in the city and allow Calgarians to realize their sporting dreams like she did.

She added her hope is Calgary will become Canada’s sporting city.

Sport Calgary is best known for it’s popular program “All Sport One Day,” which allows Calgary children to experience a variety of sports for free all in one day.
