Lowe’s to hire hundreds in Calgary

Lowe’s is getting set to hire hundreds of people here in Calgary.
Approximately 400 jobs will be created when it opens two new stores in the city by mid-year; one in Signal Hill and the other in Shawnessy.
Spokesperson Sandy Indig said anyone interested should keep an eye on the Lowe’s Canada website for updates.
“We’re looking to staff the full store from management — from our managers and department managers — to customer service, cashiers and sale specialists,” Indig explained. “We’re essentially looking for 150 positions that will essentially staff every single deparment within that store so that the store is fully operational.”
Lowe’s is holding a national hiring day on March 5th to hire between 40 – 50 people for seasonal positions at each of their three existing locations in Calgary.
“We’re inviting anybody to come in, specifically into our stores, and we will be conducting interviews on the spot.
