Another head on collision over the weekend proved fatal for two drivers.
The crash between a car and pickup truck happened Saturday morning just east of Grassy Lake.
RCMP Corporal John Spaans tells 660 NEWS what happened.
“Investigation has found so far that the small car crossed the centre line and struck the pick up truck head on. The drivers of both vehicles died as a result of the collision. The two aditional people in the pickup truck were transported to hospital with serious injuries,” explained Spaans.
The driver of the pickup truck is reported to be an Alberta Sheriff stationed in Medicine Hat.
The investigation is ongoing; alcohol has been ruled out, but officers are looking at speed and distracted driving as possible factors.
