International flight makes alleged bomb-threat landing in Montreal

Some Las Vegas travelers headed to London, England were delayed Wednesday morning after their British Airways flight made an emergency landing in Montreal.

The plane was the target of a reported bomb threat.

Over 300 people were on board the flight but were safely removed from the aircraft on arrival to the Canadian airport at around 4 a.m. MNT.

An airline spokesperson said the pilot chose to make the landing as a precaution.

Police and airline officials began a search of the plane while passengers were put-up in hotels until another flight connecting to London could be found.

It is unclear what, if anything, has been discovered in the search of the aircraft.
