Pilot uninjured after forced landing on Tsuu T’ina Reserve

A man in his 60s walked away from the forced landing of his light airplane on the western edge of Calgary late Wednesday afternoon.

Details are sketchy, but it appears the plane set down without incident.

EMS’ Stuart Brideaux tells 660News, all resources were dispatched.

“A little after 4:45 p.m., EMS received reports that a light aircraft had been forced to make an unscheduled landing along a rural road on the Tsuu T’ina Reserve”, he said.

It’s not known what forced the plane down, where it was flying from, or where it was headed.

The pilot, who was not hurt, was the lone occupant.

No name has been released and the investigation continues.
