Famous Canadian Comedian to host Nepal relief show

In a show aimed to bring people together for a common goal, comedian Colin Mochrie will host a show at the Jack Singer Concert Hall on June 2 in support of fundraising for Nepal.

Mochrie said he wants people to realize there is still a real tragedy halfway around the world.

The famous Canadian jokester jumped at the opportunity for the charity variety show after the organizer, which is a close friend, asked him to take part.

“His daughter was in Nepal when the earthquake hit and luckily managed to just miss both earthquakes so I had kind of a personal aspect to it,” said Mochrie.

The performance will include famous improv performances from the ‘Who’s Line is it Anyway?’ star.

Joining Mochrie will be members from the Loose Moose Theatre, Green Fools Theatre and musical guests Revv 52 and the Heebie Jeebies.

Tickets are on sale for about $40, but cheaper for seniors and students.
