Calgary’s newest festival celebrates all things classical

The city is ramping up for a two week long celebration of classical music.

The first Calgary New Music Festival will kick off next Monday, May 4th at Cafe Koi.

Organizers hope to expose audiences to new local and international composers.

The music will be performed at several different venues across the city including cafes, churches, and recital halls.
