Police continue to appeal for information in Auburn Bay murder

Police continue to investigate a brazen daylight shooting Thursday morning in Auburn Bay that left a man dead.
Officers were called to Auburn Sound Circle Southeast around 9:30 a.m. and found a body lying in the street.
The victim was a man in his mid-40s, but his identity has not been released.
Investigators do not believe the shooting was random and a motive is not yet known.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers.
It’s the city’s third homicide of the year.
