NW landfill reopened after bear tranquilized

The Spyhill Landfill has re-opened after a bear scare Monday afternoon.
The City shut down the dump after a bear was spotted hanging around.
The bear was tranquilized and taken away by Alberta Fish & Wildlife.
It’s just the latest sighting of wildlife within city limits in recent weeks.
A cougar was shot and killed by Fish & Wildlife earlier this month — after it was found outside the South Health Campus.
