RCMP in Leduc are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery

A man went into Chad’s Smoke Shop Monday at about 1:30 p.m. shopping around until other customers left the store.
He told a staff member he had a weapon and would use it, demanding money.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, and merchandise.
RCMP responded, with the Police Dog Service searching the immediate area. The man left in an unknown direction.
“We believe at times like this the public can be our eye’s and ears, and help us identify the person involved,” says RCMP Constable Julian Celms. “No one in our community supports actions of people who commit crimes like this.”
