Ring road still not open

There’s still no opening day in sight for the Southeast Ring Road.
The Calgary roadway won’t be welcoming traffic Tuesday, despite promises of just one to two weeks delay by Transportation Minister Ric McIver.
The project was originally scheduled to open October 1st, but ran into major delays.
The company in charge of construction, Chinook Roads Partnership, faces a fine of $70,000 each day the roadway remains closed.
