Friends and neighbours have set up a memorial for the young boy who was killed while riding his dirt bike down an alley in lower Mount Royal last week.
The 12-year-old was driving his motor bike, without a helmet, in the 1900 block of 10A Street Friday night, when he was hit by an SUV and rushed to the Children’s Hospital.
He died Saturday morning as a result of his injuries.
According to The Calgary Sun, flowers, balloons and pictures have been set up at 10a Street near 19th Avenue in memory of Neil Nahal.
A memorial will be held Wednesday afternoon at Queen’s Park Cemetery, located at 3219 4th Street N.W.
