Anti-abortion flyers raise the ire of Calgary father

A poster campaign by the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform has raised the ire of a Canyon Meadows’ father.

Jeff Kelly says his 5 year-old son picked up the mail this past week and was disturbed with what he found.  In the Kelly mail delivery was one of 100,000 flyers the anti-abortion group is distributing in two of Calgary’s federal ridings.

Kelly says the poster is graphic with bloody images of fetuses superimposed over the faces of Prime Minister Harper and Calgary Centre-North MP Michelle Rempel.

Police say they’ve had several complaints about the posters but there’s nothing illegal about them.

For his part, Kelly tells The Calgary Herald if the flyers are going to be sent out in the mail, they should be in an envelope.
