Bret Hart frustrated over no Hall of Fame induction for brother

A local pro-wrestling legend believes it’s becoming embarrassing the WWE has yet to induct a Calgarian into their Hall of Fame.

Bret Hart tells 660News, he’s frustrated his brother, Owen Hart, who died in a tragic accident at a show 14 years ago, hasn’t received the respect he deserves.

“You know, it’s time to remember what he was. He was a great wrestler, and WWE fans around the world remember Owen, everyday. And, they ask me, everyday. It’s kind of childish,” says Hart.

Bret, who received a special honour from the City of Calgary this past Monday, says he’s thinking about writing another book which would focus on the life of his brother, Owen.

Bret was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006.
