A 12-year old Calgary boy is getting attention from Hollywood after a YouTube post.
Budding actor Brandon Watson wanted to raise awareness for Kawasaki Disease after seeing a video about the condition on YouTube by the Gary Busey Family Foundation.
“Gary Busey was making a video about it, and people weren’t taking it seriously in the comments. Someone posted ‘Cow-Eye Sockets disease, what’s that?’ I thought that was really mean so I decided that people aren’t taking this seriously, so I’ll post my own video and ask people to go donate.”
After posting the video, Watson got a Tweet from Gary Busey himself saying “You’re partnership is a blessing, and now we have a brotherhood that lasts forever.”
Kawasaki disease can be fatal in children, symptoms include fever and redness and in some cases damage to the coronary arteries.
