New Habitat for Humanity leader promises more homes

Habitat for Humanity Canada plans to significantly increase the number of homes it builds over the next four years.

Newly appointed President and CEO Kevin Marshman tells 660News, it’s all part of the non-profit’s very ambitious plan.

He says, “Our goal is to build as many homes in the next five years as the organization did in the first quarter century in Canada.”

That equals about 1,800 homes through 2016.

Marshman adds providing affordable homeownership is needed now more than ever in Canada.
