Wildfire burning near Pincher Creek

A wildfire is burning near Pincher Creek, southwest of Calgary.
The blaze is northeast of the Leitch Collieries Provincial Historic Site.
Because the area is so remote, air support is on scene.
The province says forestry and municipal crews have established unified command to aid in fighting this fire.
Last week, the Alberta Emergency Alert issued a proactive evacuation alert for the Pincher Creek and Castle Mountain areas due to a wildfire in B.C.
