German tourist shot west of Calgary may never speak again

A 60-year old man from Germany, shot west of Calgary last month, may never talk again.
According to a GoFundMe page set up by a member of the German Consulate in Canada, the bullet that struck the man while he was on vacation driving with his family is still lodged in his brain.
The spokesperson says the man cannot talk, nor move his right side and he’s been flown to a hospital in Germany that specializes in brain trauma.
RCMP have yet to charge anyone in the case.
Investigators believe the gunman mistook the German man for someone else when they shot him.
