Wrestler Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart dies at 63

A wrestling legend and member of the tag-team powerhouse, the Hart Foundation, has died.

The WWE confirms Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart passed away following a medical emergency. He was 63.

The Florida native and long-time Calgarian is survived by his wife and three daughters, including current WWE superstar Natalya.

Neidhart reportedly earned his nickname after winning an anvil throwing competition at the Calgary Stampede. The legendary Stu Hart trained him in the infamous Hart Dungeon here in Calgary.

Fans and athletes are leaving heartfelt messages on social media.

Neidhart’s former tag team partner, and brother-in-law, Bret Hart says he is stunned and saddened.
