Emergency crews had to corral 15 cows into a new vehicle Friday morning after a cattle truck flipped on its side on Stoney Trail NE.
It happened around 4 a.m. near Country Hills Blvd.
“When CFD and CPS units arrived on scene, (they) found a cattle liner that had rolled over. No injuries to the driver or the livestock,” Sgt. Trent Petersen said.
Fortunately, none of the animals escaped.
Calgary police shut down the roadway during the morning commute, to get both the cows and truck off the roadway.
