There are some parking issues in the northwest at the Crowfoot LRT station.

City of Calgary Spokesperson Heather Hastie says a sink hole has opened up in the parking lot.

“So there’s a sink hole that’s about the length of a city bus that’s affecting the short term parking which is on the north side of Crowchild Trail. LRT service is not affected at all,” she explained.

About 30 short term parking stalls and 4 handicap stalls are blocked off at this point, and it’s not yet known how long it will take to fix the problem.
