Ribfest to take over Max Bell Centre

Here’s something to make your mouth water – Calgary Ribfest is on this weekend.

It starts Friday and runs until Sunday at the Max Bell Centre.

Festival director Les Gagne says they use all Alberta products.

“We pride ourselves in that because Albertans love their meat and they love it even more when it’s from Alberta,” explained Gagne. “We’re looking at some of the best beef ribs that we’ve ever had on the tour, pork ribs, we’ve got brisket, we’ve got barbeque chicken.”

Gagne says they will also have great side dishes at Calgary Ribfest including mac and cheese, beans, and coleslaw.
