One person killed in two vehicle crash near Lethbridge

A two vehicle crash in southern Alberta has taken the life of a 42-year-old man from Standoff.
Emergency crews were called to the crash just west of Lethbridge around 5 p.m. Monday afternoon.
RCMP say a preliminary investigation has revealed a white Toyota Corolla driven by a 61-year-old man was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes when it collided with a Chevrolet Impala.
The 42-year-old who was driving the Impala was rushed to hospital, but died enroute.
A 12-year-old girl in the same car suffered minor back injuries.
RCMP continue to investigate.
