Flood preparedness meeting set for Calgary

Calgarians have a chance to brush up on their flood preparedness at a town hall on Thursday.
A flood readiness event is being held for residents who reside along the Elbow River, at 7 p.m. at the Elbow Park Community Centre.
The city announced earlier this week that water levels were running higher than average, but the risk of flooding was relatively remote, barring large amounts of rain fall.
