Man wanted in 2006 Eckville murder

Mounties are offering a reward to locate a man wanted in a 12-year-old murder that happened west of Red Deer.

Bradley Webber was found dead inside his fifth wheel trailer in Eckville, Alberta on October 24, 2006.

Police say 35-year-old Kevin Edward Brown is facing one count of first degree murder in Webber’s death, and one count of kidnapping a different individual.

Another man, Shayne Earle Gulka is still awaiting trial for the same homicide.

RCMP believe Brown, who is originally from Calgary, is either in B.C. or Alberta and is offering up to $5,000 to anyone who has information on him.

Brown is described as Caucasian, 5’9″, 179 lbs, with blonde hair, brown eyes, moles on his face, and a scar on his forehead.

He also has two tattoos: a Chinese symbol on the left side of the neck, and a tribal design on his right upper arm, though those tattoos may have been changed or removed.

Brown is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

If he is spotted, members of the public are asked to call police or 911 immediately.
