Calgary police issue warrants in connection with murder of Darby Chase Shade

The Calgary Police Homicide Unit has issued warrants for second-degree murder in the death of Darby Chase Shade.
Christian Whitebear, 25, and Matthew Crane-Watchmaker, 19, who were previously persons of interest in the homicide in Rosscarrock, have now been charged in relation to Shade’s murder.
Shade was discovered in the parking lot of Westbrook Mall back on Wednesday, January 17.
Detectives believe the duo are no longer in Calgary and they’re asking for the public’s help in finding them.
Whitebear is described as Indigenous, approximately 5’11” tall, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Crane-Watchmaker is described as Indigenous, approximately 5’10” tall, 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He also has a tattoo on the side of his neck.
