Man rushed to hospital after assault in south Calgary restaurant

A large scene around the Tim Hortons along Shawville Gate S.E. has been cordoned off after reports of a serious assault Tuesday afternoon.
A 25-year-old man was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition.
First responders initially arrived at the restaurant after a report of a medical collapse; it’s unknown how the man was hurt.
One suspect has been taken into custody.
