World Cup skier dies while training at Nakiska

A French skier training for the upcoming World Cup races in North America has died in a training run at Nakiska.
The French Ski Federation says 35-year-old David Poisson died in a training crash on Monday.
Poisson won a bronze medal in the downhill at the 2013 World Championships.
The resort is currently only open to the public on weekends and is being used during the week for athletes training for World Cup action.
The World Cup season opens this weekend.
