21-year-old wanted in southwest jewelry store theft

Calgary police are asking the public for help catching a jewelry thief.
Police said a man, now identified as Mohammad Nasruddin, entered the Birks Jewelry store in the TD Square Mall on 7 Ave S.W. just after 4:30 p.m. Monday.
He browsed a selection of watches, asked to look at a Rolex watch valued at $43,700 and while trying it on, ran out of the store.
The man is believed to be of Arabic descent, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5’9″ tall with a slim build.
Nasruddin is believed to be in Calgary but does have connections to Toronto.
