There was yet another strong showing at the advanced polling stations on the final day they were open.
The city says 16,302 ballots were cast on Wednesday.
CityNews spoke to some of the voters, including Vincent Chio, who likes the convenience of advance polling.
“Any chance you don’t have to fight the traffic and get to that whole fiasco of trying to get in your last vote helps. (I’m) even thinking about maybe if there’s a chance to go online voting down the road, that would be helpful as well,” he said.
In total, 74,965 people took advantage of the early polling stations this year, more than three times the numbers seen in 2010 and 2013.
