The power of social media doing good played out in Calgary on Tuesday.
Police are investigating a disturbing Twitter account based in the city, after a number of people flagged it, commenting on the content and calling for action.
The account @canadacreep showed pictures and videos of young women, who appeared to be unaware they were being photographed or taped.
The online outcry prompted Twitter to suspend the account.
Efforts are now underway to find the person or people behind @canadacreep.
Calgary police say anyone who thinks their photo was posted or has more information, should contact their non-emergency line (403-266-1234).
