Alberta roads fatality free over holiday weekend

It’s a rarity on Alberta roads….
Provincial roads and highways were fatality free over the past three days.
RCMP Sergeant Patricia Neely can’t remember the last time she saw something like this.
“I’ll give you a comparison. In that last year we had seven separate collisions resulting in seven fatalities on that same weekend, so to be able to go from that to no collisions is really, really pleasing,” says Neely.
Neely says ultimately this all came down to people driving appropriately.
Mounties were out in full force along with the Alberta Sheriffs, responding to 57 injury collisions.
One person is also in critical condition after a serious off-road crash.
