Stampede gets million dollar boost

The federal government is giving the Stampede a boot full of big cash!
The feds are kicking in $1 million for 2010’s Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
It’s hoped the cash will create more jobs as people come from around the world to enjoy the party.
The Stampede tells the Calgary Herald the money will be used to improve some of the so-called “free events” that come with admission.
