Former oil executive faces fraud and assault charges

A former oil and gas executive in our city is facing assault, theft and fraud charges.

33-year-old Benjamin Koorbatoff used to be a director of Brink Energy.

He’s up for six counts of fraud over $5,000, two counts of theft over $5,000 and two counts of assault in Red Deer.

His fraud case is set to be heard in provincial court on May 26th.
