Police have charged a woman in connection with food tampering incidents at a Calgary Co-op store.
Since January there have been several reports of metal objects like push pins being found in food items at the Oakridge Co-op store.
43 year old Tatyana Granada has been charged with mischief over $5,000.
Police say they continue to investigate two other instances of food-tampering at the Co-op, although no one has been injured.
Security has been beefed up and Co-op staff have been doing regular checks of food since the incidents started.
Last Saturday, staff again found pins in some bakery items and a cheese product.
There have been no reports of food tampering at any of the other 23 Co-op stores in Calgary.
