There's been a delay in the prosecution of a Calgary man charged with murdering a city teenager more than three years ago.
The defense counsel told court on Thursday he's withdrawing from the case, leaving the accused without a lawyer.
The accused can't be named because he was a minor at the time of the killing.
He's charged with first-degree murder in the February 2007 death of Adam Cavanagh.
The 18-year-old was shot through a basement window in his family's northeast home while his parents were upstairs.
