Sunday marks the one-year anniversary of the death of 3-year-old Michelle Krsek, killed by falling sheet metal in downtown Calgary.
The little girl's mother, Mariana, tells The Calgary Sun they're planning to gather at a small church near Okotoks to remember Michelle.
The family had been preparing for her 4th birthday party when tragedy struck.
Next Saturday, when Michelle would have been five, Mariana says she's planning a special party in her daughter's name at the Rocky Ridge water park where Michelle would have celebrated her birthday.
