Police investigate attempted sexual assault in N.E.

Police are looking for man who attempted to sexually assault a woman in Taradale Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the 19-year-old was walking on a green space pathway behind Taracove Landing N.E. when a man came up behind her, grabbed her hoodie and at the same time pulled her sweat pants down to the ground.

The victim turned and screamed, and the man ran to a bike nearby and rode off.

The suspect is described as brown-skinned, 18 to 21-years-old, 5'8".  He has short, black spikey hair with blonde tips and was wearing a red v-neck sweater, blue jeans and white runners.

Police say he was riding a black mountain bike with fluorescent green rims.
